Barcelona International counselling seminar in Urban Planning & Management

A delegation of about twenty professional architects, planners, landscapers and geographers from the Jeddah City administration and King Abdulaziz University (Jeddah, Saudi Arabia) participated in this activity organized by the CPSV, at the request of the Almobdioon Center for Studies, Consultancy and Training al King Abdulaziz University.

On this occasion, the CPSV researchers: Dr. Carlos Marmolejo Duarte, Dra. Blanca Arellano Ramos and M.Sc. Rolando Biere Arenas made presentations and work meetings on different aspects of urban problems and how to solve them; planning knowledge, technology, management and urban sociology. In addition, visits were made to public entities such as: AMB, ATM-TRAM and Barcelona City Council.

Other prominent professionals such as Dr. Bahaaeddin Alhaddad and the urban sociologist Magdalena Plocikiewicz Giro and research staff in training: Paloma Morales Flores, Paúl Espinoza Zambrano and Antonio Hargreaves Mendez also participated. And Magdalena Ulied Seguí, collaborator of the group, in all the logistical work.
