The paper “Cultural Landscapes Inventories. Theories, Methods and Techniques” has been highlighted as “article of the month” by the Getty Conservation Institute.

The Getty Conservation Institute (GCI) has highlighted as “paper of the month” the work published by Silvia Fernández Cacho in the recent 51 issue of our ACE: Architecture, City and Environment journal, entitled “Cultural Landscapes Inventories. Theories, Methods and Techniques.”  The objective of this work has been to carry out a comparative study of different inventories of cultural landscapes in Europe and North America to analyze their similarities and differences in terms of their objectives, characteristics of the inventoried landscapes, scale or recorded information, among other aspects.

This article is the result of the research that its author has carried out thanks to a stay at the CGI developed between April and June 2022 within the framework of the Scholar in Residence program financed by the J. Paul Getty Foundation (Los Angeles, USA).
